    Materials provided by the author are prepared using latex. If you want to learn how to use latex, the following may be useful.
    1. Go to http://www.miktex.org/. Download and install MiKTeX.
    2. Go to http://www.texniccenter.org/. Download and install TeXnicCenter.
    3. Open a tex file (eg article.tex) using TeXnicCenter.
      Click the "Build current file" button on the toolbar. A dvi file will be produced.
      Click the "View Output" button on the toolbar. Yap will be launched to open the dvi file.
      There are ways to produce pdf file from tex file or from dvi file. You can learn how to use pdftex of dvipdfm later.
      To learn more latex commands etc, read "The Not So Short Introduction to LaTeX2e" available at many places in the internet (for example http://www.ctan.org/tex-archive/info/lshort/english/lshort.pdf).
